Treat Yourself: 3 Ingredient Luxury Face Masks DIY

What better way to relax and get some TLC than to pour a glass of your favorite wine (or tequila even), apply a face mask, and unwind!

Once a week- at minimum, we try to give ourselves a pamper session to unwind and soothe our bodies from the inside out. While we love a good high end face mask (hello Peter Thomas Roth- irish mud moor mask), we also love a good natural and effective mask as well!

Check out a few of our personal favorite formulas that will help brighten, protect, and soothe your precious skin! 

Oats & Honey- Sensitive Skin Soothing Masking

Oats are antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, helping to moisturize and heal skin. They work on sunburn, eczema, and more.

1/2 cup organic whole milk yogurt 

1/3 cup organic oat flour (or oats grounded to oat flour)

2 tsp. organic honey

Let sit for 10-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a washcloth.

Avocado Moisturizing Mask

The oils in avocado hydrate your face and banish dry, flaky patches. 

1/2 ripe avocado

1 tsp. plain yogurt

1 tsp. honey

Let sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a washcloth.

Pumpkin Sun Protecting Mask

Pumpkin helps protect against and reverse UV damage. Pumpkin’s zinc may also fight acne.

1/4 cup pumpkin puree

1 egg

2 tsp. honey

Let sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a washcloth.
